Design Philosophy

As a key part of our building design philosophy, we do not waste space in our home designs. We favor open floor plans. As a result, every home we build is super efficient on space utilization. You get the “biggest bang per square foot” of usable space, thus consuming a lot less resources to achieve the same degree of space enjoyment. Our homes therefore have some of the smallest carbon footprints available on the market. You pay less for a smaller home and get the usable space of a bigger one.
We plant more trees in our subdivisions than most builders. Our front yards have at least 2 trees, very often 3. We also plant additional trees on side yards of corner streets and sometimes at the back of homes when appropriate. We also preserve existing native vegetation and trees as landscaping wherever possible.

Doing everything practical to save you energy and money

Look no further, Cresleigh builds one of the most energy efficient homes on the market. Our approach is PRACTICAL. Everything practical to energy saving solution is incorporated into your home, partciularly on items that are costly to alter or install once the home is built.

Top of the line plumbing system

A high performance manifold distribution PEX water-piping system effectively reduces energy loss from pipes, improves hot water delivery time to faucets and cuts waste on water and energy. Typical PEX or copper plumbing systems include many T branches resulting in lower efficiency and performance. The many "home runs" to the distribution manifold greatly improves water pressure to the plumbing fixtures. PEX piping system is also quieter than copper.

Superior windows and installation

All vinyl windows and sliding glass doors are not only built with state of the art energy efficiency, but they must also pass our stringent requirements for waterproof design and structural integrity. In addition, the vinyl extrusion used by the window manufacturer must meet our standards for long-term durability and quality. Each window is installed using our required techniques, which when combined with an upgraded window flashing system, reduces the risk of future window leaks.
